Step 1 – Depict the outline of the BMW

Begin with the basics and depict the body of the car using very light lines. Define the long hood, flat roof, and sloping roof. Don’t make the lines too dark or add details on this stage.

Step 2 – Add the front and rear wheel arches

Now, detail the bottom the car, tracing the bottom edge and creating the wheel arches. The wheel arches should be identical in size and shape. Locate them close to the front and rear edges of the car.

On the front of the car, draw the headlight and detail the front bumper. After that, draw the rear bumper in detail and depict the taillight. Then, draw the spoiler on the top of the trunk.

Using long and smooth lines, trace the hood and roof of the car. After that, draw the windshield and add the antenna on the roof. After that, draw the window frame using long and smooth lines.

Let’s detail the windows of the car and draw pillars. Then, draw the side mirror on the front section of the window frame. After that, draw the handle. Here you can draw another window for the five-door version.

It’s time to make the body more detailed. To do this, draw the BMW M4 door using long and thin lines. Again, you can draw another door for another version of the body. Sketch additional decorative lines and elements.
