How to Draw a Modern Lamborghini Car

The team of Drawcarz.com has previously shown you how to draw a Lamborghini, but in this revised drawing instruction, we will show you how to draw a modern Lamborghini car using a different method.
The key difference is the design of the car and drawing method. This modern Lamborghini car drawing tutorial is created to show you what is the main difference in styles and eras of car design, and how to convey it in your sketch.
Here we have slightly changed the order of adding details and shadows, compared to our earlier instructions. If this is your first time trying to learn how to draw a modern Lamborghini car, then this instruction is created especially for you.
How to Draw a Lamborghini Car
Step 1: Sketch the basic shape of the Lambo
To accurately draw a modern Lamborghini car, you need to represent its complex shape in the form of a simple geometric figure. Depict the silhouette using very light and simple lines. Modern Lambos have a really sleek design with many intricate details.

Step 2: Sketch the Lambo side window and roof
Use long smooth lines to adjust the top of the roof. Next, use a couple of simple lines to depict a very narrow window frame. This narrow window is one of the most distinctive features of modern Lamborghini cars.

Step 3: Draw the Lamborghini wheel arches
Use a pair of long, curved lines to sketch the wheel arches of the Lambo at the front and rear. In the same stage, sketch the complex outlines of the rear bumper with a series of angular lines.

Step 4: Detail the front and back of the Lambo
In the front part, depict an angular headlight. Sketch the air intake below it. Now in the back, add the taillight and the details of the rear bumper. Use straight and clear lines, since modern Lamborghini designs have razor-shape edges.

Step 5: Draw the mirror and detail the windows
Use dark and smooth lines to correct the outlines of the Lambo front hood. In the same stage, depict stripes inside the window arch. Complete the stage by depicting an angular mirror. Modern Lamborghini cars have very angular hood and mirror shapes.

Step 6: Draw the door of the Lamborghini
Draw a long door using straight and clear lines. After that sketch a flat handle on this door. Draw decorative lines at the bottom of the body. Add an an air intake near the rear wheel of the Lambo. Keep in mind, that modern sport cars have many pronounced “sports” design elements.

Step 7: Draw the wheels and erase the guidelines
Get rid of all the construction lines from the Lamborghini car drawing. Next, carefully depict the wheels, which should have a perfectly round shape. Inside them, depict rims that also should have a perfectly round shape.

Step 8: Draw the rims of the Lamborghini
Draw circles in the center of each rim. Next, sketch the lines of the spokes, which should evenly diverge to the sides. You can adjust the shape and amount it spokes to give the rims more unique look. Many modern cars have very complex rim shapes.

Step 9: Add shadows to your Lamborghini
The Lamborghini drawing will not look three-dimensional until we add shadows. Start depicting shadows from the darkest areas and work towards lighter ones. Don’t forget to depict highlights on glass surfaces. You can use detailed hatching to highlight and detail some parts.

This was another instruction where we demonstrated you how to draw a modern Lamborghini car. As noted above, this instruction has been revised to contain new information and the team of Drawcarz.com hopes that this has helped make the process of drawing Lamborghini car easier and more intuitive.
We also hope that you have gained some experience in drawing modern cars and get some knowledge in modern sports cars and super cars design language.
