How to Draw a Nissan Skyline

We have previously shown you how to draw a variety of very cool Japanese sports cars, and now we will show you how to draw a Nissan Skyline.

The Nissan Skyline is an extremely popular car among racing enthusiasts. Our team loves Italian sports cars more, but Japanese sports cars are no less interesting for us.

Japanese sports cars have their own special spirit and style that cannot be confused with anything else. It is this style and spirit that we will try to convey in our Skyline drawing today.

How to draw a Nissan Skyline: step-by-step tutorial

Step 1 – Sketch the Skyline long flat coupe profile

Use very light and rough lines to depict the silhouette of the Nissan Skyline. the body should be very flat and long and the roof very low.

Step 2 – Add the high wheel arches and bumper ends

Use two high semicircular lines to depict the wheel arches at the front and rear of the car. In the same stage, depict the front and rear bumpers.

Step 3 – Draw the Skyline cab window frames

Draw the visible sides of the windshield and rear window in smooth lines. Depict the window frame between them with smooth lines.

Step 4 – Correct your Nissan Skyline shapes

Use very clear and smooth lines to correct the outlines of the Nissan Skyline body. The hood should be angular. At the rear, depict a tall spoiler.

Step 5 – Draw the door and pillar of the Nissan

Draw a center pillar inside the window frame. In the same stage, depict the door using a long and smooth line. To check the proportionality of the picture, look at it through a mirror.

Step 6 – Sketch the Skyline mirror, lights, and hands

Depict a rearview mirror in the front lower corner of the side window. In the front and rear, depict the headlight and rear light. Complete the stage by drawing a handle on the door.
