How to Draw a Spyker C8
How to learn to draw a Spyker C8? Scroll down this tutorial and learn how to sketch one of the most interesting sports cars like a real artist!
This really cool car has a very strong appearance and details, which we will try to painstakingly implement in nine simple steps.
The Spyker C8 is the epitome of luxury and has been produced since the early 2000s, going through several generations.
At the very end of the step-by-step guide, we will explain how to display the desired generation in your sketch.

How to draw a Spyker C8: step-by-step tutorial
Step 1 – Create the car’s smooth and exotic silhouette
To start sketching the Spyker C8, outline the overall silhouette of the future vehicle. Use simple, loose lines to represent the flowing shape of the body. You can slightly exaggerate the length of the hood and the slope of the roof, as these are important traits of the model.

Step 2 – Sketch wheels and windows of your Spyker C8
Depict two tires that should look like clean, symmetrical circles. Then add a narrow window line that runs almost horizontally, and mark the car lights at both ends. The wheels must be placed at the same level, otherwise the car will look unstable. Try to keep the windows thin of the sports car and elongated.

Step 3 – Sketch the arches, wheel rims, and mirror
Above the tires, draw the semicircular arches of the Spyker C8 that fit closely around the wheels. Inside each tire, mark round rims that repeat the contour of the tires. Add a side mirror, placing it carefully along the window line. Check the vehicle proportions at this stage.

Step 4 – Complete the hypercar’s frontal details
Now refine the front part of the sports car, darkening and tracing the contours. Work out the headlight more clearly, and strengthen the shape of the elongated bumper. If desired, you can also mark the smaller and more intricate details at the front of the luxury vehicle.

Step 5 – Trace the aerodynamic roofline and cabin
Trace and darken the upper part of the sports car, including the roof, pillars, and the shark-fin antenna. The roof should slope smoothly and connect well with the rear of the vehicle. At the same time, mark the cabin glass more clearly. Define the thickness of the pillars and detail the small and aerodynamic rearview mirror.

Step 6 – Draw out the Spyker C8 rear in detail
All cool cars have a very cool rear view, so detail the long trunk and sketch a small and smooth spoiler. After that, draw out the rear bumper and exhaust pipe of the supercar. Also, you can add small lines and details at the rear. At this stage, the silhouette of the vehicle becomes complete.

Step 7 – Illustrate the coupe door and air intakes
Sketch a long door and add two side air intakes. Erase unnecessary guidelines on the vehicle’s body to clean up the sketch. The side of the car should now look as refined as the front and rear. Also, refine the bottom adage and trace it using darker lines.

Step 8 – Draw the classic Spyker multi-spoke rims
Now work on the rims, making them with thin multi-spokes typical of the Spyker C8. You can also illustrate a brake disc behind the spokes, which is characteristic for sports cars. Erase the construction lines from the wheels, leaving only smooth shapes.

Step 9 – Make your hypercar look more voluminous
In the final step, add shading with hatching in the darkest areas: under the arches, beneath the car, and around the rear. Place highlights on the glass surfaces and hood to give the car volume. You can also add the cast shadow below the car, to make it look even more realistic.
